What this tool does

Pick the pie diameter, crust style, a topping pattern, and how many slices you ate. The total is table math, not a lab tray from your shop.

How it works

A typical 1/8 slice of a 14-inch regular cheese pizza sits near 285 kcal on USDA-style rows. Pepperoni, deep dish, and larger pies scale up. Thin crust scales down. Meat-lovers adds a flat extra.

How to interpret the result

Two regular 14-inch cheese slices are often ~570 kcal before garlic butter and soda. A “slice” from a 16-inch pie is a different food than a slice from a 12-inch pie.

Example

Two slices, 14-inch, regular, cheese: 570 kcal, about 24 g protein. Add pepperoni and you are over 600. Deep dish meat is a meal, not a snack.

Common mistakes

  • Counting a restaurant “slice” as 1/8 when they cut 6.
  • Forgetting the stuffed crust and the side of ranch.
  • Logging thin-crust numbers for a pan pizza.

When this estimate may be off

  • Wood-fired pies with a pint of oil in the crumb.
  • Frozen brand labels — read the box instead.

Frequently asked questions

How many calories are in one slice of pizza?

Often 200–400 kcal for a typical 1/8 slice, depending on size, crust, and meat. This calculator is built for that question.

Is veggie pizza always lighter?

Vegetables are light. Extra cheese and oil are not. We only add a small veggie bump on top of a cheese base.

What about New York vs Sicilian?

Use thin vs deep as a first split, then add a slice if the piece was huge.
